Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled.
After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal.
Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013.

SHOWstudio is set to unveil a gem of exclusive unseen footage by Nick Knight and Lady Gaga from the Born This Way video. As a thank-you to Gaga’s little monsters for their continued support of SHOWstudio Knight will be releasing the beautiful footage, which did not make the final cut of the video, in the coming days. First, stills will be released on Knight’s Instagram – @showstudio_nick_knight – shortly followed by moving footage, to be unveiled on the SHOWstudio Tumblr.

Exactly one year ago Lady Gaga’s second studio album Born This Way was released officially. The album became the fastest-selling record worldwide in 2011.
The first single came out on February 11st, 2011, selling more than 1 million copies in just 5 days and hitting the first spot in 23 countries. After one year the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry announced that the single sold more than 8 million copies worldwide becoming one of the best selling singles of 2011.

Today is the day! The Born This Way Ball Tour is debuting with its first concert in Seoul, South Korea, today at 8 pm (7 am ET, 4 am PT, 12 pm GMT, 1 pm CET). All the latest info, photos and more from the concert will be posted here. So keep your eyes on the site and make sure to refresh the page sometimes to see if there’s something new.
Update #1: as expected, fans were not allowed to wait in the queue before 8 am, so some of them waited all night across the street. At 4 pm (Korean Time) the fans who were in line received the Monster Pit wristband. The number of wristbands handed out is approximately 2.000 (probably depending on the stadium capacity).

Gary, a Billboard‘s editor, took some time to answer the questions that fans submitted to the magazine. A Lady Gaga fan emailed him and said that Scheiße should be Lady Gaga’s next single. He replied saying:
“Sheibe” does have a hooky chorus. Personally, I’d still prefer “Hair” as a pop radio single were another to be released from “Born This Way.” An Interscope executive confirmed to Billboard this week that he is not aware of any current plans for another single from the album.
