Lady Gaga’s 3rd single The Edge of Glory reached the first position of the Billboard’s Dance Club chart this week. The track becomes the ninth no.1 single. Just Dance was the only single that did not top this Billboard chart.

It has been announced Joseph Khan will be the director of Lady Gaga’s new music video for her hit The Edge of Glory. He worked with Lady Gaga before, directing her Eh, eh and LoveGame music videos. The director is also knowns for his work with Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Pussycat Dolls, Moby, Mariah Carey and more.

There’s no release date yet. However stay tuned for more info in the next days.

Because of the awesome reviews and the huge success on iTunes, Lady Gaga decided to release The Edge Of Glory as the 3rd single only in the US. PopJustice confirmed it on the official forum:

It looks like this single is going to be US-only, so here in the UK it’s probably best still regarded as a promo track for the iTunes album release.
