As she said in recent interviews, the forthcoming re-release of Lady Gaga’s debut album, The Fame: Monster, will feature almost an album’s worth of new material.
According to a press release sent out by the singer’s label, the album, which hits stores on November 24, will include eight new songs, including the lead single, “Bad Romance,” the finished version of which was premiered on Tuesday at Alexander McQueen’s runway show in Paris, and which Gaga played briefly during her piano medley on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend.
“I wrote about everything I didn’t write on The Fame,” Gaga said in the release. “While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record: my ‘Fear of Sex Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Alcohol Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Love Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Death Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Loneliness Monster,’ etc.” She did not further specify the exact titles of the new songs, except for “Bad Romance” and one called “Speechless.”
