As she said in recent interviews, the forthcoming re-release of Lady Gaga’s debut album, The Fame: Monster, will feature almost an album’s worth of new material.

According to a press release sent out by the singer’s label, the album, which hits stores on November 24, will include eight new songs, including the lead single, “Bad Romance,” the finished version of which was premiered on Tuesday at Alexander McQueen’s runway show in Paris, and which Gaga played briefly during her piano medley on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend.

“I wrote about everything I didn’t write on The Fame,” Gaga said in the release. “While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record: my ‘Fear of Sex Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Alcohol Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Love Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Death Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Loneliness Monster,’ etc.” She did not further specify the exact titles of the new songs, except for “Bad Romance” and one called “Speechless.”

Lady Gaga said on Friday she and Kanye West decided jointly to cancel their “Fame Kills” tour, and she will embark on her own headlining concert series soon while West plans to drop out of the spotlight.

“It was a mutual decision,” Gaga said as she arrived for Billboard Women in Music Event where she received this years Rising Star award.

“Kanye’s going to take some time off. But the good news is that I’m going on tour in a few weeks.”

Lori Ann Gibson, Gaga’s longtime choreographer who was working on dances for the shows, claimed on her Twitter feed that “creative differences” between the Gaga and West led to the tour’s abrupt demise.

The cancellation comes just days after the two pop stars announced the dates for an arena tour that was to kick off next month. Concert promoter Live Nation announced the cancellation news on Thursday and said refunds will be issued.

The cancellation comes on the heels of wave of negative publicity for West, following his interruption of Taylor Swift’s award-winning moment at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.

Lady Gaga’s already famous, but she’s being honored as Billboard’s “Rising Star” at the trade publication’s annual Women in Music event this week.

Lady Gaga’s debut CD “The Fame” has sold more than 1 million copies since its release late last year, and she’s had two No. 1 singles with “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.” In November, she kicks off a joint tour with Kanye West.

Lady Gaga will be honored along with Beyonce on Friday. Beyonce was named “Woman of the Year.”
