MTV will exclusively world premiere Beyoncé and Lady Gaga’s “Video Phone” video on-air and online on Thursday, November 5. “Video Phone” will premiere in the U.S. on MTV and MTV.com at 5:30 p.m. EST, while MTV channels worldwide will debut the music video in 162 countries following the airing of the MTV Europe Music Awards from Berlin where Beyoncé is scheduled to perform.

Coincidentally, Lady Gaga will re-release her own album The Fame on November 23, boasting another collaboration with Beyoncé titled “Telephone.”

Lady Gaga has revealed what art means to her and how it has heavily influenced her persona and music.

The 23-year-old singer linked her unusual wardrobe and shocking stage antics to her passion for the aesthetics.

“Everyone wonders who Lady Gaga is. Who is the person behind the make-up and the glasses?” The Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying during a sit-down chat with Fairfax in New York.

“I’m a performance artist and this is what I do. Art is a lie and every day I kill to make it true,” she added.

The Poke Face hitmaker further explained the idea behind her shock performance at this year’s MTV Awards when she left the audience gasping as she writhed on stage with fake blood flowing from her chest and eyes.

She said: “That, for me, was the first truly original thing I’ve done. I wanted to do something that was emblematic of the death of celebrity.

“The demise of the blonde women that we worship, kind of paint a picture of Marilyn Monroe with a bottle of pills in her hand.”

Lady Gaga has been voted the creepiest singer in showbiz for her provocative PAPARAZZI video. The promo sees the eccentric star sitting in a wheelchair, declaring she has killed her boyfriend. GaGa even appeared to hang herself during her performance of the track at this year’s (09) MTV Video Music Awards. The singer’s crazy stunts have spooked music “fans”, who have named her the weirdest musician in the charts.

Last night, Saturday Night Live did a re-run of the fairly interesting Ryan Reynolds-hosted episode from earlier this month. In it was a skit with musical performer Lady Gaga and a Madonna cameo. But they re-aired the funnier, racier version.

Lady Gaga is being given an award for her “well-appointed” accessories.

The Poker Face singer – famed for her series of bizarre hats, gloves, sunglasses and bags – will be given a Stylemaker Award at the 13th annual Accessories Council Exchange Awards on Monday in recognition of her unique wardrobe.

Karen Giberson, president of ACE, said: “As an artist, she’s well-appointed in accessories. Just when you thought you saw everything in originality, there she is again. People anticipate what she’s going to wear and it’s exciting to see accessories as such a meaningful part of someone’s wardrobe.

Whether it’s her hat or gloves, she’s always well-appointed.”

Marc Jacobs – a 2007 Designer of the Year award winner – will present the honour to his pal.

Other honorees at the ceremony – which takes place at Cipriani in New York – include Diane von Furstenberg, who is being given an Accessory Visionary Award, Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta as Designer of the Year and Burberry as Brand of the Year.

Legendary doll Barbie will be honoured as a Fashion Icon.
